What does it mean to be a Queen?

Each year at Lindenfest, the Lindenhurst Pageant is held, where we crown three new young ladies to represent Lindenhurst for the next year. The pageant allows all contestants to make new friends, build interview skills, and develop confidence. The three queens will have a year full of sisterhood and service. This includes developing a platform to benefit a cause or charity of their choice and participating in a multitude of service events hosted by the other Lake County Illinois State (LCIS) pageant queens. Not only will they build connections to service, but they will also build friendships with ladies from the 10 other towns in the LCIS system. They will move on to represent Lindenhurst at the LCIS pageant in the spring. The ladies will also attend fun Lindenhurst events like the Haunted Trail, Easter Egg Hunt, and Concerts in the Park. Our Mission

Our mission is to give each contestant the opportunity to make new friends while developing confidence, poise, and self esteem. The pageant provides the chance to develop public speaking and interview skills for every participant. We pride ourselves on nurturing the young women of Lindenhurst to become role models through community involvement.
